Hyatt have shared some details on Flyertalk for an upcoming Hyatt Gold Passport promotion. The promotion, entitled ‘Stay More, Play More’ will run from 1 April, 2016 through to 30 June 2016.
Under the promotion, members will be able to gain up to 75,000 Hyatt Gold Passport Points. The catch to getting the maximum number of points is that it will take 25 eligible nights to do.
The earnings structure of the program will be:
Stay: Earn: Total Points Earned:
5 Nights +5,000 Points =5,000
10 Nights +10,000 Points =15,000
15 Nights +15,000 Points =30,000
20 Nights +20,000 Points =50,000
25 Nights +25,000 Points =75,000
As can be seen, the more times you stay, the more points you gain per night. If you stay 5 nights, the average bonus comes in at 1,000 points per night. If you can manage the full 25 nights, then it becomes an average bonus of 3,000 points per night.
Hyatt state that registration for the promotion will commence on 1 April, at which time member will be able to register for the promotion.
While chains such as Hilton, Starwood and Marriott all ran promotions for the first few months of 2016, Hyatt chose to go without a program wide promotion. Hyatt have also tended toward tailored offers. This promotion looks to be offering all members the same rewards – a break from what has been the norm for Hyatt.
