Double Hilton Honors points when paying by Visa Platinum, Signature, Infinite

Hilton Honors and Visa have launched a new promotion offering double Hilton Honors points. The promotion is being run in conjucntion with Visa, and will require you to settle you room bill with an eligible card (see below).

The double points promotion is for stays between 01 October, 2017 and 31 December, 2017. It is almost identical to a promotion run toward the end of last year.

Register and Stay

To be eligible for the Double Points, you wll need to

  • register for the promotion
  • book a stay through Hilton booking channels, and
  • pay for the stay, with a participating Visa Card, at participating Hilton Honors hotels.

Under the terms of the promotion, the booking must be made, and the stay completed within the promotion period.

As usual, the Bonus Points in this promotion are calculated on the Base Points earn. That is, any points earned through any other promotion, or through status, will not be included in the double points calculation. Also, it may be worth noting, that there is a maximum of 20,000 Honors Bonus Points per Cardholder, per Honors account that may be earned during the promotion period.

Eligible Hotels

The eligible hotels include hotels across Asia Pacific. In Australia, this includes most Hilton and DoubleTree branded hotels.

Hampton By Hilton hotels in China are a notable exception, as these do not presently participate in the Hilton HHonors program.

Eligible Cards

The eligible cards for the promotion are Visa Infinite, Signature, Rewards, or Platinum (Australia, China and Japan only) cards issued in Asia Pacific.
