Last week we made note that Le Club AccorHotels was now offering Qantas as an option in it auto-convert facility. In order to promote the use of this facility, Qantas are now offering the opportunity to gain a 50% bonus on points transferred through auto-convert by the end of November.
Le Club AccorHotels is the loyalty program of the Accor group, which enables you to earn points at particpating properties worldwide. The brands that Accor operate, that allow you to earn points include Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, and Mercure.
In order to take advantage of the offer, you will need to set up Automatic Conversion of points to Qantas. There is a link through the Qantas Points website that will take you to a pages to setup the automatic conversion.
If you proceed through this link, Le Club AccorHotels has set up a customised page to allow you to set the auto-conversionÂ up. After providing your login details, you will be presented a form in which to enter you Qantas Frequent Flyer details:
Alternatively, the process can be set up through the existing options within your Le Club AccorHotels account.
Under the automatic conversion process, any Le Club AccorHotels points earned will be automatically transferred to Qantas at a rate of 1 Le Club AccorHotels Point to 1 Qantas Point. As noted in the previous report, there is effectively no minimum number of points that can be transferred, as the threshold has been set to 1 point.
Under the bonus offer, “a bonus of 50% more Qantas Points will be awarded to members who set their Automatic Conversion option to Qantas Frequent Flyer and have points converted to Qantas Points between 18 September and 30 November 2015.” Note that Bonus Qantas Points may take up to 12 weeks to appear in your antas Frequent Flyer account.
